..hurt yourself with a stapler?? I was trying to refill my stapler at school yesterday & somehow it attacked me! I was a little embarrassed when I went to ask the secretary for some neosporin!

I stapled my thumb in third grade. I still remember the school secretary -- the nurse must have been OOO -- rolling her eyes at me over that one.

@elbiekay I think that happened to me around that age as well. And I thought of it yesterday. Wondering how at 30 I could manage to catch my finger AND my thumb. Guess I still haven't learned proper stapler safety!

When my husband was a kid and my BIL a toddler, BIL somehow stapled his soft palate. Like, he was eating the stapler.ow.

when I was in primary school we had this nutso kid in our class. one lunch time he decided to start a war and started shooting everyone with a stapler gun. got me in the arm. i still have no idea how everyone managed to keep their faces and eyeballs safe!

I don't think I have with a stapler. Kitchen knife yes. And one of my sisters broke off a pencil point into my other sisters palm. The graphite was there for years bf it worked its way out (doctor said to leave it be)

I did when I was much younger. I had my thumbs right over where the staple comes out - I didn't think the stapler was closed well enough so I was trying to jam it down. .... pretty dumb.

Yep. I accidentally stapled my thumb when I was younger and I also have had a staple gun shot at my face.
