Totally yelled out a person's name and wave, only to realize that it's not who you think it was? Lol! I'm so red right now.

I've started to go up to someone with kids in tow and been about to say something then they turned around. Wasn't who I thought it was and I'm sure it startled them to see a woman pushing two kids in a stroller coming straight at them only to veer away at the last second...

@Espion: Yes, on more than one occasion! Although once while I was in an airport, this big huge dude (he was an NFL player!) picked me up from behind and spun me around (like, feet off the ground spun me around) while calling me some other woman's name. When he stopped hugging me and pulled back to look me in the face . . . yeah . . . it took about half a second for him to turn a deep shade of scarlet! He recovered quickly (and still asked me out!).

I've hugged someone, and then realized they were actually a complete stranger and not the person I was looking for! Ahhh!

i went up behind a guy at Nordstrom and when I came out of the bathroom, he had his back towards me....and I sort of touched/rubbed him affectionately on the shoulder, thinking he was DH. He thought it was funny but was REALLY surprised to see me and Dh had a good laugh.
Another time, i thought DH was next to me, but it was his friend, and I had my head turned and went to hold his hand and his friend played along. Derp.
