An elementary school friend was a featured real estate agent on the HGTV show that staged the houses for sale. And the same friend was the featured designer on at least one episode of Clean House.
I had vegan cupcakes from Sticky Fingers and they won an episode of Cupcake Wars.

I was on an episode of "Desperate Landscapes" -- not my lawn Just helping a family member! (Although my lawn is fairly desperate as well). They definitely fed us lines to say, but it was fun.
A college friend was the featured real estate agent on an episode of House Hunters. Another friend was on The Pet Psychic way back in the day.
And when I was in college, I worked as a casting assistant for a few local castings calls of Starting Over. There were some interesting ladies who showed up to try to be on that one... !!!

I was almost on Four Weddings, we opted out due to the filming schedule. They wanted to film the final part of the episode where they reveal the winner either the day after my wedding or the the day we got back from our honeymoon after taking a red eye.
My coworker was on Spice Up My Kitchen, I would say 90% of the renovation she had to pay for they supplied most of the labor and gave her a "surprise" gift. But her kitchen is fabulous and we had a blast helping her pick out outfits for filming.

I know someone who was on House Hunters International and she said the entire epi was staged. Even the house shown at the beginning, wasn't her current house, but a friend's house! She said they told them what to say, etc. Totally staged...but I still love watching!

Our house was in Holmes magazine Fall 2010!
But that hardly counts! DH and I (ok, mostly me!) have applied to be on property virgins, and then Leave it to Bryan (maybe just on Canadian HGTV). I love Bryan.

My cousin's ex was on millionaire matchmaker and I was dying laughing at how ridiculous they made him look! They were still together for my wedding so he is in a bunch of wedding photos.

My friends were on "My Cat from Hell" - hahaha! Their cats really are a handful and the host guy actually helped them out quite a bit.

@calsmom: I cannot help but be obsessed with that show. But it always seems like the women are WAY more attractive than the men. Like, 95% of the time I'm all "huh?" about the millionaires.

I miss Sandra on Property Virgins! I know she left to do a new show. Have any Canadian bees seen the new show and is it any good? Maybe American HGTV will pick it up.

@Rock n Roll: Her new show after she dropped PV is called "Buy Herself", it's not on near as much as PV was, and not as great!
