Bernie Sanders is coming to my town on Friday and I sort of want to go to the event. It's close to my work but I'm curious how long it would last and what it would be like.
Have you ever been to a campaign event? How was it?

I went to the last speech Obama gave of the 2008 campaign, the day before the election. It was amazingly exciting, and a memory I'm so happy to have, but it took forevvvver! like, left work early and wasn't home until way late, even though the speech itself wasn't long, there was just hours of waiting around...part of that might have been that we got there too early, but I don't remember. we had to wait in line to get in for awhile, so we weren't like, the earliest people there.

Not one with a candidate. I've gone to debate watch parties and those are fun.
