Yes! There's a bar in our neighborhood that has a burger with a fried egg, beets, and pineapple on it, and I LOVE it.

Yep, and it was DELICIOUS!
At the place I had it it was called a Shame Burger, and included a patty, slab of scrapple and a fried egg. It was HUGE, though...I could only eat half!

Yep. I'm in Wisconsin - the land of saturated fat, and it is fairly common to offer an egg on a burger.

@Mamaof2: YES ITS THE BESSSSST!! The best is using 80% lean beef, grilling or sauteing some slices of sweet onion, and throwing a fried drippy egg on top. DH even likes avocado and bacon thrown on it. We call it a breakfast burger.

Yup! An egg on a nice burger is assumed to be a given in a lot of the places I've lived/visited (Asia). It sounded weird when I first moved there, but YUM!
