I think I have a kidney stone! My lower back is killing me (almost feels like labor!) and the entire area is super super sore to the touch. 
I have a doc appointment tomorrow. UGH.
If you've had it before, what were your symptoms?

I am no stranger to kidney stones and infections. Is your pain coming in waves or is it constant? My kidney stone pain came in waves and was super intense, like at the ER within hours of the pain starting intense.

I haven't, but DH did when he was a teenager (before I knew him). He says the pain was incredible and he was told it's the closest thing to childbirth a man can ever experience.

@Ms.Badger: It comes in waves but it's not super intense. But I do feel some throbbing. And my skin is super sensitive. Did you have sensitive skin? Almost like it's sunburned?

@PurplePeony: My DH had it in the middle of the night and he said on a scale of 1 to 10, it felt like an 11. And his tolerance for pain is pretty high!

@banana: I didn't have sensitive skin. My guess is if it's a kidney stone, you won't last until your appointment tomorrow.
@PurplePeony: I compared my contractions to kidney stone pain, not gonna lie, kidney stone hurt worse. -

@Ms.Badger: Ok so just wanted to let you know that it wasn't kidney stones. It was SHINGLES!!!!
It's gone now but it hurt like a mofo and it lasted for 2 weeks!!!
