Have you ever had your baby alone over night?

Yup the key is to have everything you need close to you. If Lo is needing a bottle you won't have the extra person to comfort or make the bottle while you comfort and prepping for me saved me

yeah, I've done it a lot, although not so much recenlty. My husband used to have to night shifts at his last job, and of course when he goes out of town on business, it's all me.

Yep...DS's dad and I separated when DS was only a little over a year. Before that, his dad was gone a lot anyways, so we were on our own most of the time.

I haven't spent a night alone but yesterday DH told me he has his very first business trip coming up in July. I've always been the road warrior in this relationship. I just took it for granted he would always be there. Glad to know you ladies all manage.

Only once! DH had to fly out for his brother's wedding. J was 4 months old at the time and I had him alone for the weekend.

Yes, many times because DH has had to go on business trips out of town.

All the time! Even when she was a newborn and dh went back to work everything was on me. But now, dh works at night, so this little 8/9 month thing we've got going on here is all mine on those days.

All the time. DH works weekends and sometimes I'll go to my parents' beach house with DS. I guess technically my parents are there but they don't help with him overnight.

Several times. The first was when she was six weeks. I actually thought it was easier, since I just brought her into bed with me for side-lying nursing and snoozing. Now it doesn't make too much of a difference, but I do obviously prefer if he's there!

Haha, yeah. I've spent more nights alone with him than not. W was born last April. DH was gone for 5 days in June for school for his job, he was gone the entire month of July for a work up on the boat, then he was gone from the end of August to the end of April on deployment.
