I think Michael's sells bags of just the colors if you don't care they aren't personalized.

@autumnlove: do you have a party city nearby? They sell individual bags of all of the different colors. I think they have coupons pretty frequently too.

I think they also sell M&Ms at the Sweet Factory in the malls. I know for sure that Dylan's Candy Store at the Grove had some.
