It's early. Almost uncomfortably early here but I have two kids, I'm used to getting up early. Only...H has been awake since sometime around five thirty and been playing in his crib since then. He started whining around 6:20 so I got up, picked him up, put him on the floor mat to change him, picked him back up, and plopped him in his crib. The tears that errupted were instant and would have made any diva proud. The wails were loud enough I was afraid they would wake Em but they didn't.

It's been twenty minutes now and the most I have heard out of him is a question 'Mmm?' I don't have a video monitor so I can't see if he's asleep or not but I don't even hear him rustling around in his crib. Did I just put my toddler back to sleep?

And does anyone know a way to teach a toddler to sleep in longer?
