I have bought once and sold a few times on there. It's ok but I don't love it. One of the items I sold had a dispute over authenticity that eventually went in my favor, but it was stressful. I suppose that would be the same with ebay but because I think people abuse it more on tradesy because tradesy does allow returns, but will only give a refund back if there is an authenticity issue. In terms of buying, it really depends on the individual seller, much like ebay. I like that you can return if you want (even if only for credit). I have mostly stopped using tradesy though because I find the search to be weird and most things are really overpriced. But the one experience I had buying on there was fine.

Haven't done tradesy but I just bought 3 pairs of shorts from poshmark which seems similar. I ordered them on Monday and they are arriving today. So thus far I'm happy but I'm guessing it depends on who you buy from. Poshmark gives the seller 7 days to ship so it could take way longer. I'll try to remember to update when they get here. Oh and prices seemed really reasonable also

What is tradesy and how does it compare to etsy? I have recently heard about fiverr.

@bluestriped bee: it doesn't compare to Etsy. Tradesy is resale of high end items like LV, prada, etc although they also do stuff like Kate spade, D&B, etc. bags, clothing, jewelry, accessories.
I've bought and sold several items and have no complaints. Their process is very easy.

@yoursilverlining: oh cool! I have a Kate spade diaper bag that I want to sell.
I thought from the name tradesy was some sort of trade swapping service. Gotcha.

@yoursilverlining: So my impression of it was that it was kind of anything goes, not just designer fashions. I thought they accepted anything like Old Navy, Gap, etc.
@bluestriped bee: Yeah check out Poshmark too. They do take a high commission but I've heard good things about it.

@turquoisemama: I think technically you can list whatever you want, not just high end stuff. But I think the things that sell the best are higher end. I listed some J.Crew shoes and some Frye boots last year and they just sat and sat. I eventually put them on Ebay and they sold in a week or two.
