They had a rock climbing wall at my project graduation (all night party to keep the kids safe and drug free after graduating from high school), so I tried it then. And I sucked at it. I never had any interest in doing it again.

We have grain silos that have been converted to climbing places in my hometown, so I went a few times when I was younger. I was always terrible though because I'm short and could never reach the places I was supposed to - even on the easy courses!

@artbee: I went rock climbing in West Virginia once when I was 14 but haven't gone since! I was pretty good at the climbing part but I don't like heights like that, so I wasn't crazy about it! I think I'd like it @ an indoor climbing wall more

I've gone a few times in HS with my HS best friend and her then boyfriend (now hubby). I'm short so reaching for the higher pegs were difficult and I had to use A LOT of upper body strength to pull myself up. It was frustrating watching my best friend scale it with easy since she was taller. Haven't gone since.
My HS also had project grad and I totally loved it!!!

Yep, I used to love to do it. We had a wall at our local gym and we would go in there all the time and rock climb, it was a blast!
