I guess Hubs probably had his wisdom teeth out, but other than that, nope.

I've just had wisdom teeth out. DH had an emergency surgery following a bad car accident... That surgery saved his life. He's also had multiple surgeries to repair various breaks and tears related to the same accident, spread out over a year after the fact. He was put through the ringer!

DH had shoulder surgery and I've had two csections and wisdom tooth extractions

Since we've been together we've both had our wisdom teeth taken out, he had Varicocele surgery, and I went under anesthesia for my egg retrieval. Everything has been same day. We both had surgeries when we were kids too.

- Knee scope
- D&C either tomorrow or Friday

DH yes - somewhere on his arm/elbow..

Me no - the closest is getting stitched up after giving birth

He's had a bunch.
-After his heart attack (at 33) he was put under to get a stent.
-Multiple Endoscopies
-Wisdom teeth

Yes.
I've had wisdom teeth extraction and an exploratory laparoscopy.
DH has had an ACL repair and tumor removal.

I had sinus surgery.
DH had a varicocele fixed when he was a young teenager.

I had my appendix out when I was a kid and we've both had our wisdom teeth out.

DH has never had any surgeries.

I had three as a child- one I'm not sure on the details but it was relating to colon/intestinal issues, one they cut out some of my colon and I had an ostomy bag for a few months, and then a third one when they reversed it.

As an adult, I've had LASIK, a D&E, and a c-section.

DH has not.

I've had a kidney transplant at 12 and 2 subsequent surgeries for complications the following year. I also had surgery to place a dialysis tube prior to the transplant, after my kidneys failed. Plus a c-section with my son under general anesthesia. Fun stuff!

I've had wisdom teeth and a tonsillectomy.

DH has had wisdom teeth, a cyst removal, and an emergency appendectomy.

I had a microdiscectomy almost two years ago...it was outpatient surgery done under general anesthesia. We live in CA so the most nerve wracking part about it was worrying that we'd have an earthquake and the neurosurgeon would accidentally cut a nerve! But it was totally uncomplicated in the end.

Yep. Most recently in the fall when I had to have a tube removed following an undetected (and therefore ruptured) ectopic pregnancy. I would say that it was way scarier for me to go into the OR now that I am a mom than it was before. It was an emergency surgery so I didn't have time to think of much, but I had a little cry and message that I wanted my husband to tell our kids should something go wrong. I was freaked.

My husband was able to stay calm and planned a business trip while I was in surgery. I suppose we all cope differently.

I had a breast reduction a few years ago....wisdom teeth and LASIK but I don't really count those as major surgeries

DH has had 3 foot/ankle surgeries. I had some lady part related procedures, a c-section, and brain surgery to remove a brain tumor (that last one was a DOOZY).
