They're price range is a lil ridic in my opinion so I haven't bought anything, but we received a gift for DS' bday that we'll need to exchange for a diff size.

omg. There is a standalone crewcuts store near us that I just visited for the first time. I wanted EVERYTHING from the girls' section. FOR ME! But even in the sale section everything was just too pricey.
But much like babygap when there's a sale and additional % off, the stuff is very affordable! I think it's like gap where in-store the deals tend to be better. We got a short sleeved plaid button down for Wagon Jr. for $5! I even got a matching one for his friend. We also got the bowtie he wore for our holiday cards for about $7 and a plain blue cotton pocket t-shirt for $3. Score!!

I like looking through their stuff but it's more than I would like to spend on kid's clothes also.

We received a gift from the baby jcrew-- is that still crewcuts? I really hope they got a discount because the list price for a cute long sleeve onesie was $26!

Not yet. I don't love their boy's clothes but there are some pieces that are pretty cute.
@mrs. wagon: Wrentham crewcuts outlet? the girls stuff is so ridiculously cute!!

i love crewcuts but yes it is pricey. i only buy from there when they're having a big sale. they have great t-shirts and sweaters.

i also justify the cost by buying more timeless pieces or pieces that have a high resale value. if you think of it that way, you may end up recouping your costs more than something purchased at old navy because you can resell it. like if a sweater is $40-$50, you may be able to resell it for $20-$25.
i'm definitely going to be listing some of charlie and olive's nicer clothes on the hb classifieds!

@mrs. wagon: Well shooooot. When we get home next weekend we are going straight from the airport to dinner at Burton's at Derby street. Guess I'm going to have to go check out the sale rack at crewcuts.

@MamaMoose: omg we ate at Burton's and it was sooooo good!! I forgot that you are from here...!! Let me know if you want to meet up.. haha!!

@mrs. wagon: Perhaps I can bail on dinner with my in-laws because I have to come visit you??

We buy crewcuts on sale, and it's great because it ships free. I don't buy anything too trendy. Also they are cut (and sized) a little bigger so we get two years wear out of it. We are also buying some Factory crewcuts. Those are pretty affordable on sale.

@MamaMoose: @mrs. wagon: I will meet you both in Hingham and then you will HAVE to bail on dinner with ILs
I haven't bought anything, but will once their baby stuff starts hitting the thrift stores...so probably by the time my kids have kids

@Foodnerd81: I'm not sure their baby items ever get discounted - not even the non-third party stuff!

I have. eeks. i know their prices are expensive but I wanted to get a couple of things for DS who has a lot of hand me downs. I bought a hoodie and a button down shirt for him...they can be mixed and matched with basics he currently has, so I paid the $$ bc he got a lot of use out of them.

@spaniellove: I better make sure she wears her $26 onesie while it fits then. The same person gave her little Minnetonka boots from Crewcuts that are ridiculously adorable-- hope they fit while it's still cold.

@Foodnerd81: You could also keep checking the sale section to see if they've updated the baby stuff....there's not a lot but you could find something good!

Not yet. But I can see buying some stuff on good sale discounts when K is older. So so cute! @mrs. wagon: I totally want a lot of the stuff for myself!
They also have Crewcuts at the JCrew outlet. But most of it is made for outlet, but who cares. Still cute!
