I'm so happy to be done early with summer camp registration for my son this year. He's taking a bunch of camps with a friend from school. I'm excited for them - I think they'll have a lot of fun together. I have to figure out what my daughter will be doing but at her age, camp options are limited so it's not has stressful.

I'm in the middle of this right now and my head is spinning. All of my DDs best friends' parents have different scheduling needs than us so trying to coordinate camps where she has a friend is crazy. Not to mention going from paying $0 for public school to $$$ for each week of summer camp. I hope I'll be done by the end of the month working it all out, jealous that you are done!

We have signed up for 3 day camps, and will likely do one more. My younger daughter is too young yet for them!

My DS is starting a new preschool this fall and will likely do 3-4 weeklong camps at his new school to start getting used to it. We are excited about the new school and the summer camps will be fun!

Yep! The DCP we use has an amazing summer program!
Swimming lessons 2 times a weeks for both kids and then DD will have 1 field trip a week and DS will have 2. Plus they have special guests 1 time a week! I love it!

@T-Mom: yeah. It's definitely a good chunk of change. The family that we coordinated with has more or less the same scheduling needs as us so it all worked out well.
@woodentulip: yeah, all the ones we signed him up for are all day camps.
@shellio: @Mamaof2: they both sound like great programs. A plus that you don't need to plan for one week at a time.
@Pancakes: yeah. I remember being shocked at the prices. We were only doing half days at the time too.

We registered for a one week, half day camp. I'm looking forward to it! It will be her first time. We registered at the end of last month and are traveling to a different state to do it!

yup already registered last month. charlie is going to the same one he did last year and olive is old enough to join him this year.
