We took it down in the 28th - same story, got back from a trip and it was the saddest, dryest thing. We usually wait until New Years day. It is laying pathetically at the end of our driveway.

No, in my family we keep them up until Jan 6th, Old Christmas Day. We do a lot of traveling during the holidays, so we have a pre-lit artificial. I'm so paranoid about real trees and potential for fires if they dry out. When LO is older (and actually born!) we'll probably stay local, and have a real tree. We'll still keep it up until Jan 6th.

We got all the Christmas stuff put away on the 28th, and I have a LOT. But I was getting stressed by the clutter and DH was willing to help that day, so we just knocked it out.

We wait until the epiphany as well, plus DH and I wait to exchange gifts till we are at home (always travel to see family at the holidays!) so we leave it up until we have "our" Christmas! Which will be tonight or tomorrow

Yeah it's down but only because we got it earlier than usual this year. We usually leave it up till valentine's day.

I usually leave it up as long as possible, but we're storing Christmas decor at my parents and they were in town this week, so I had to take it down early. Major sad face

Planning on taking it down tomorrow. I have a super tree that didn't require much watering at all. We've had it for a month, and I only added water once or possibly twice.

I took it down yesterday.

Ours is fake & still up because my 5 week old son loves looking at the lights (it calms him when we're changing diapers sometimes) lol

It's still up. It's my project for tomorrow, but I am sooo sick with morning sickness, I've been laying on the couch most of today and know tomorrow will be similar. I'm going to rally and do it anyway, though. Because I have to do it.

I took all the decorations off a few days ago and DH took it out today.

Ours came down today. *sniff sniff*

I took mine down on boxing day!! the floor was a mess and needed a good vac & mop, and I was dreading the thought that within a few days it was going to be full of pine needles again.... so down it came!

Ours will probably come down tomorrow. I wanted to keep it up until Tuesday or next weekend. But, Dh is able to put the boxes back up in the attic tmrw.

We had to take ours down 3 days before Christmas because it was incredibly dry and we were worried about it being a fire hazard.

Gone! Love having a less cluttered house with all the decorations put away.

We took ours down New Year's Day while we were home from work. That's a bit early for me. I usually wait until the next weekend, but the boy scouts were scheduled to come bright and early this morning to pick it up. It had stopped drinking water and was really dried out.

DH took down most of the outside decorations today, but we still have some smaller things up inside.

Not yet. Usually I take it down right away but LO has loved the tree so much it makes me sad to think about taking it down!

We take ours down the 7th, since the 6th is Epiphany (Dia de los Reyes) and they bring money We put our shoes under the tree on the 5th and wake up to the gifts from the three kings. It's one of the traditions I look forward to the most, it sort of marks the official end to the Christmas season.
