I've used it a lot. I used it when I got engaged and married. I used it when my dog died and when I got a new dog. I used it when I moved to a new city and when we got a new metal roof put on our home.
I see a lot of people use it for engagement/marriage but hardly for anything else!
Do you use the Life Event feature? If so, for what?

Nope. Most of my major life events had already gone by when that feature became available.

@sorrycharlie: On your "timeline" where you enter in a status, there is a "Life Event" button. It basically makes a pretty status update with a picture and stuff, and it shows up elsewhere on your timeline as "highlighted" events in your life.

@highwire: same here - I am not sure if there was there when I had Olivia or not...but when I got married, I think they showed on my news feed regardless (for changing my status)

@sorrycharlie: I think relationship statuses automatically became "life events" when the feature was added... so you have at least one life event on your timeline!
