I just wanted to say how lovely it is to read about all the new mama's and their success with breastfeeding - especially because it's World Breastfeeding Week!
Keep calm and nurse on

Yay!! I'm not a 100% success, as E is 50/50 formula and breastmilk due to supply issues, but I couldn't imagine not nursing this little guy. I had no idea the bonding part of it would be so powerful!

Ditto! I feel so grateful that bfing has worked out for us. All of my cousins on my mom's side (5 of them!) have had problems bf'ing.

Whoo hoo!
I'm so thankful every day for my minimally difficult breastfeeding experience. So many women here have persevered through such difficulties! You are all amazing.
I nursing my LO so much, I'll be so sad when it's over.

Yay! I love being able to nurse LO, and am so thankful that I've been able to do it easily. I don't know anyone IRL who has been able to BF past a few weeks. Glad there are lots of success stories here!

For me it was such a struggle at the start and at times I felt like a failure, but we came out on the other side and it was all so worth it! Such a special time in life, becoming a mom and having this experience. Happy World Breastfeeding Week!

Happy Breastfeeding Week!
Here's my story: http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/my-breastfeeding-journey
M is 15 months and we still nurse at least 2x a day.

I am in absolute awe of this community and the support I received and the support any struggling mama receives.
It was hard for me to explain why I felt so strongly about breastfeeding but I feel like the hive understands and is incredibly supportive regardless of what choice a mama makes, because at the end of the day, we all just want our LOs to be happy and healthy.

I wouldn't call myself a 100% success yet, but we've successfully made it through 9 weeks and counting! I hope it continues to get easier We are really getting the hang of it!

We've overcome mastitis, clogged ducts and latch issues... and at almost 6 weeks, I can say we're really getting the hang of it. Hoping it continues to go well. I never thought I'd be so "into" breastfeeding, but it's working for us.

DH and I were talking about it yesterday-- I think I love it so much because it was so hard-won. The beginning was really difficult. Latch issues, thrush, clogged ducts, mastitis, milk protein intolerance, rotavirus... It was rough. Now at almost 5 months, we have no thoughts of stopping anytime soon! The next hurdle is returning to work in 10 days. But I feel like we can make it through anything now!!
