I am pretty sure I know what this means, but any HcG experts please weigh in.
I had a faint positive HPT on 10DPO (Thursday).
Today is now 14DPO (Monday) I missed my period, pregnancy test line is still faint. My HCG today was 19.
This is 99% probably a chemical pregnancy, right?

@Applesandbananas: thanks- interesting. I wouldn't be worried by 19 alone, but since I know I had a positive on Thursday my HCG would have to be above 20 now if it were doubling. I think.

In range for 4 weeks. Can they give you anything? Progesterone? Have they tested you for why you have gone through so many times? I'm so sorry you are dealing with this stress and praying for a sticky baby

@pastemoo: They haven't tested progesterone. I think because I've had two normal pregnancies without intervention....they assume there's no issue? IDK if 2 chemical pregnancies in a row is concerning, or not? I mean, I'm concerned, but I don't know if they are. I'm still nursing, trying to wean, so it's not that much....but think that could still be the issue.

@winniebee: I would ask to h ave progesterone tested at your next beta just to see. I needed it and aspirin after my first pregnancy. Your body changes.
Also all that matters is doubling!

My doctor said she wants to see above a 50 at 14dpo. So, tbh, 19 is pretty low. Everything crossed for you that it's just a slow to double beta and will pick up!! I'm sorry for the stress.

Seems a bit low but maybe you implanted on the late side? I've always heard that you can't determine anything from 1 HCG level, you need the second (48hr) one to see the rate of doubling before anything is for sure. Also, check out betabase.info, people have reported lower than that with successful pregnancies.

With L I had a faint positive on a 50miu test at 11DPO. At 14DPO my beta was 41.

Thanks everyone. Definitely a loss - bleeding a little now. My doc wants me to get repeat labs tomorrow anyways.
