I'm probably going to get my first hCG trigger shot next week (Weds). I'm a little freaked out and worried about side effects... mostly, I am worried that I'm going to be really nauseous/vomiting b/c hormones tend to make me sick. I have to travel Friday.
What were your side effects like and more importantly, how long did they last?! I can't imagine flying on Friday if I'm super sick 
The nurse at the RE's office said side effects may last 3 days.
Please calm me down!

@MrsADS: I had the ovidrel shot, and I didn't have any effects from the shot itself. That was painless & unnoticeable.
The hormones caused me to feel pregnant. I had sore breasts (so bad I couldn't face the water in the shower!), nausea, and bloating.
It lasted a good two weeks.

I've used it twice. First time my only side effect was sore nipples after. Second time I didn't even have those symptoms! I literally had almost no symptoms. I think you'll be fine!

I didn't have any side effects from the HCG trigger.

i sometimes got a headache a few hours after the shot, but that was it.

I didn't really have any side effects aside from the tender breasts (but I figure my boobs get slightly bigger during the TWW anyways).

I've had the trigger shot 7 times so far. There weren't any side effects that I had everytime. I did have diarrhea once but I don't think it was the trigger.

Thanks all. I got the shot this morning. When I asked the doctor about the side effects, he said no one really has them. The nurse said "no side effects but ovulation!". But then another nurse said "you may have sore nipples and be a little nauseous."
So we'll see... for you that did have symptoms, when did they start after the shot?

I didn't have symptoms after the trigger. I felt some symptoms a few days later, but I am almost positive it was from the progesterone!

hard to tell what was from the trigger shot and all the other hormones I had going on in my body. But no throwing up or anything like that. Good luck!
