Yup, it's crazy how fast they grow...at 9 months my LO is seeming more like a little boy and less like a baby. I don't like it!

I felt like that about DS. I always thought he looked older than he was.

Dd was really big when she was born and is still much bigger than other babies her age. In addition she hits her gross motor milestones about two months early. Couple that with her hair and she seems like a much older baby. I feel like I missed having a newborn and went straight to a kid.
Stop growing up baby!

@septemberlove: It went really good. Everyone at church was coming up to us saying they hadn't seen a better baby. She actually sneezed and we all said God Bless you, so that was pretty funny. Then when the pastor was actually baptizing her with the water, she fold her hands like she was praying. It was precious.

Yep same here. I didn't expect such an interactive little person so early. Sometime we forget he isn't older. He's been in 6 month clothes for 2 months and now is moving into 9 months. At 4 1/2 months he is 17 lbs and 27 inches, can sit up on his own for about a minute, rolls over, grabs EVERYTHING (you have to be careful!), is full-on teething and acts like he wants to start walking NOW. At our 4 month appointment, the dr. said, "He is just like a 6 month old!" We said, "Yep. That is exactly how we feel!" So funny. I think as a first time mom, you just don't know what to expect. I thought I'd have lots more time before teething and baby-proofing. But my niece was just like him and walked at 7 1/2 months so I guess I better get ready! Yikes!

E was the same, and he hit gross milestones early. We stopped having to support his head after only a week. He was sitting up straight in my arms looking around after two weeks. We joke that we never got a floppy newborn.

14 lbs! Oh man- my lil 3.5 month old is only 11 lbs! Although I do notice that he is such a lil man now! He loves I stand, babble, play with his toys, etc! He doesn't seem like my lil baby anymore!
