If you have a girl, do you put them in bows or headbands every day? I'm used to being a boy mom and I'm pregnant with a girl. It's fun to think about all the new accessories and fun stuff I get to buy, but it's also a little overwhelming. Boys clothes are easy!
Also, what stores do you like to buy accessories from?

yes! It was easier when she was tiny to put on headbands and she would leave them. Now that she is a bit older (14 months) and from when she was like 11 months- she rips the bows, ponytails and headbands out of her hair. I only put them in for special occasions and I dont want her to be bald from ripping her hair out too!
ETA: I bought a bunch of headbands from amazon- they came from china and took awhile to ship but they were pretty cheap and were perfect for her! I also bought a pack of 40 bows from an instagram seller for like $20 shipped!

I don't use headbands daily. Only a couple times a month really. I'm trying to use them more so she's used to them when she's older. My baby is 6 months. Bows don't stay in at all yet.

Almost never. Sometimes for pictures, but mostly it's too much hassle and once they can grab at them they pull them off.

If I remember I put one on before we go out, and sometimes for pictures. At this point when she's bored she likes to pull them down over her eyes and then get upset, so I can't have them on her in the car or anytime I'm not in position to watch her.
I get mine at hobby lobby. I prefer the wider lace ones that don't look like they're digging into her head, and they have a ton.

I have a girl who was born with a TON of hair. A ton. At 3-4 months I needed a clip to keep it out of her eyes. She didn't like headbands nor would they stay on. So yes, clips and boys are a necessity at our house (which is ironic given I am a total tomboy with a pixie haircut who NEVER wore bows or clips) I buy a lot from amazon in bulk as they are cheap and I just toss the ugly ones. I like the alligator clip type. at 11 months she is just now starting to tear them out 50% of the time. I also use the clear plastic elastics for ponytails.

She wears headbands when we leave the house if she has one that matches her outfit. When she has more hair I'll switch to bows. 
I love bows. Hopefully she'll get used to wearing one and not protest having one on as she gets older.
ETA: I bought several headbands from mrskc's etsy shop (Lily Girl Designs). My aunt made some for DD and we were given clips in every color from a friend. I might have to learn how to make them myself. According to my aunt it's pretty easy.

Yep! Esp since DD had no hair! She was in headbands till close to a year and then she started yanking them off so we moved onto hair clips!

Never headbands, always hair ties, sometimes bows. Headbands pretty much only work on bald babies and make my hairy monkeys look silly.
I used to do bows everyday but now I only do them for occasions when the girls are more dressed up.
Three girls with a ton of hair is too many bows to keep track of.
I usually get bows off of Etsy. Sometime locally if I see something cute.

When she was little I used to do bow clips all the time, not so much headbands. Now that she's older (23 months) she usually pulls them out

Headbands for special occasions/photos when she was younger, she would pull them off if not watched closely. Now she has just enough hair to put her baby mullet into pigtails which is adorable, but she hates having anything in her hair. So I bring hair ties to whatever distractable environment we're going to and do her hair when we get there and keep an eye that she doesn't pull them out! She wants to rock the free flowing mullet 
I just bought the hair ties from walgreens - they're fuzzy ones that don't rip her hair and grip her fine hair enough to stay in for a while if she leaves them alone.

Not usually, though I was hoping to do so before she was born! E was born in the Northeast in October, so she needed a hat every time she left the house until she was 6 months old, and I was never organized enough to remember to bring a headband to put on her after I took off her hat. As soon as it got warm, she decided that anything on her head was fair game for grabbing and throwing. We did get some professional pics at 7 months where she kept on the headband for a few of them.
At 16 months now, she still doesn't have enough hair for clips.

I was never really into headbands though I definitely think they're cute. A friend gave me a few more recently but then I realized that she has too much hair for them to work!
I finally realized hairclips were the way to go and bought her several on Etsy because her hair was constantly in her face. So now she wears those all the time. I feel sort of bad it took me so long to realize she legit needed them to keep the hair out of her face! Thankfully she doesn't mess with them but you do have to adjust them periodically.

Yup! I have a baldy, and I also alike the wide lace ones. Since I've done it since she was born, she doesn't pull at them unless they are loose and slip over her eyes. She is almost 7 months. I got mine on Zulily.

Also, some advice. If you want to out a headband on your little a lot but don't want to break the bank buying a ton of headbands, get the basic colors. White, black, Navy, silver, and pink if you think you'll be putting her in a lot of it. That way you always have a headband to match outfits!

I don't, but she's a little baldy. I'm too practical for headbands now, but I'm sure once she has more hair we'll do clips/bows.

I got bundles of bows and clips from amazon. She has a grosgrain ribbon bow in almost every color. She wears those most days. I'll buy special clips or headbands at craft shows and local boutiques. She loves hair accessories so she wants to wear something every day.

my LO is 4 months old and so far I can only do head bands because she doesn't have enough hair for bows. I really like zouzou baby on etsy, and luluLuvs, also on etsy.
ETA it's cold here so she only wears a bow if I think it looks really cute with her outfit. In the warm weather I think I will do one most days!
