Hi all,

My son will be 6 months old in 10 days, and these last couple of weeks sleep has been all over the place, but overall not great. My older son was a great sleeper so having a hard time with this little guy. Ollie is EBF and cosleeps with us - (sleeps all naps in crib and has slept a couple of nights in crib but usually just in dock-a-tot on top of covers next to us) has a three nap schedule, ((wake 630, nap 8:45-9:30 (cannot stretch this longer!), nap 11:30-12:15 (wakes and he can’t fall asleep on own so I rock him back to sleep till 1:15), nap 3:30-4:00pm, nurse upon waking, nurse 5:45, start bedtime after 6:10, he’s asleep between 6:30-7pm)) but is very fussy early morning from 4am to where I now hold him in my arms and let him sleep till 6-6:30am. I dreamfeed him at 10pm (probably too early but he usually wakes out of habit and has hard time self soothing) and then wakes at 1:30am, 4am and then he’s half awake and fussy rest of morning till 6am. I feed him when he wakes at night even though I know I shouldn't but it makes it easier to get him back to sleep.

I haven’t truly started sleep training yet because I was waiting till 6 mos. I’ve gotten him to fall asleep without pacifier (through CIO) and only a lovey but I’m terrible and give him pacifier at night .... to make matters more complicated, he’s been pooping at night in the last two weeks (eating too much?) and our 3 year old is having terrible nightmares and has been coming in to us (luckily not usually waking baby but me!) I’m slowly losing my mind being up from 4am and awake so many times per night. I’ve read almost every baby sleep book out there so I know most of the techniques, just don’t know which to try in this case?

Thankful for all the advice I can get!!
