I'm freaking out. DD managed to lick her fingers after dunking it into a shallow bird bath. By the time I saw her, she ran away and started licking! What should I look out for? Should I call the hospital?
I'm scared she ingested a parasite. Please tell me I'm overreacting!

Yeah, you're probably over reacting. She's probably fine. Kids do weird stuff like that a lot. It's gross, but they live. She's probably just helping her body develop some good immunities, lol.

That's awesome! I think she's probably fine, I would look for a rash, but other than that, I wouldn't call the hospital.

If that's the worse thing she's licked, you're doing good. I've caught mine drinking from puddles and licking the floor at the pediatrician's office. He survived.

Don't worry about it - if anything keep an eye out for diarrhea, but she's probably fine
