What are you looking for? Any specific color? Style? Price?
If you aren't sure you can always do a cheaper headboard for now and just a standard bed frame.

@T.H.O.U.: I hadn't thought about the headboard and standard frame.
I really want something simple that can last him a while. We have an IKEA bookcase and IKEA toy storage in the room right now but I didn't see any twin beds I just loved last time we were there.

Following, LO needs a big girl bed! I want something simple that's not just a bed frame, but yet won't look ridiculous if she wants to still use it as a teenager...Does that exist?
I remember I had a bed frame with a white/brass metal curly headboard and when I was a teen just took off the headboard and had the basic frame. I also had an awesome bunk bed for a few years...

@jhd: the IKEA daybed is awesome, have you looked at that? I love the storage drawers and the daybed frame makes it kind of a cozy nook the kids love and also good for family stories. I also think it looks nice!

@MenagerieMama: "I want something simple that's not just a bed frame, but yet won't look ridiculous if she wants to still use it as a teenager" THIS!
@bhbee: I do like it and there's another one with drawers I like, but when we were at IKEA a few weeks ago I talked myself out of it saying maybe LO will jam his fingers in the drawers. Ridiculous FTM, I know!
@FaithFertility: I will check them out thanks!

@jhd: if it makes you feel better my wild 2yo has never hurt his fingers on it. I also put those little rubber circle bumpers on the inside to make them close more softly, he does like to slam. He likes all the toy access and I like that it's huge spaces but completely put away!

@bhbee: oh that's a good idea with the rubber circles. thank you! i have found every excuse possible. not ready to admit that my only baby is really not a baby anymore and ready for a big bed!

@MenagerieMama: Target has an adorable hot pink, teal, or mint Jenny Lind bedframe that is super girly but would also work for a teenager. I wanted to get one for DD2, but we are looking for full rather than twin.

I like the simple ones from ikea! We have this one: http://m.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/spr/59009824/
The day beds are also really nice.
