Definitely the brown!

I think they would both look great but I would go with the brown because it will more flexible and less trendy moving forward.

@SugarplumsMom: I really like the real life sample pictures of the brown. I think the dark tones/spots really pull in the gray colors nicely.

@SugarplumsMom: Brown for sure! I'm not a fan of gray-toned floors and I definitely think that it will look dated more quickly than the brown toned floors.

I really like both. I voted gray but I can see why people are saying brown (resale, etc.) However, it just depends on how long you plan to live in your home. Almost anything is going to be dated if you live in your home for 10+ years so I tend to say pick what you like and enjoy it. I hate living my life in a "what if we sell" mentality.

I agree with those that said brown. It's a little warmer. Plus, I agree that gray is definitely trendy. It's a trend I like, but you'll probably want to keep the flooring longer than the trend lasts.

I love them both. I think it depends a bit on whether you think you'll be selling the place in the short to medium term and if not, also on your furniture. The brown will bring out warmer tones in the furniture - say if you have walnut or any sort of rich wood tones, it will pull those out really nice. On the other hand, if you're furniture is very modern - mostly cool tones, steel, etc, the gray flooring could compliment that really nicely.

I'd go with the brown. I think it has longer longevity and will be easier to redecorate around down the line. I'm more into classic looks and prefer the brown. I think the gray will look outdated in 10 years.

I say brown. We have a similar color scheme in our LR and I really like the warmth of the brown. I like the look of the gray but think I would probably get tired of it after a while.

Both are gorgeous, can't go wrong. But I went with brown because I think it works with your color scheme and is maybe more versatile/classic for if you ever want to change your scheme up.
