I recently bought these IKEA curtains but have yet to hang them.

I need to get a curtain rod but they have grommets. I'd prefer an ikea curtain rod, but I'm having a tough time finding one I like with the curtains!

@matador84: I don't think I'm understanding the problem. What are you looking for? And what other metals and fixtures are in the room?
I like the thicker IKEA rod and the price can't be beat. But I don't love their silver toned "metal" finish. Target has good inexpensive options. I just like to make sure not to get the really thin rods (like half inch I think- I like the 1 inch ones).

Hugad is the one I like. I have the white in my younger daughter's room. We had a really long one over two big windows in our condo and they never bent or sagged (with three prackets, one on each end and one in the middle).

@matador84: I would say try to get a 1" diameter rod. The grommets on those are good size and a smaller rod didn't feel like the right scale.

@T.H.O.U.: Good idea because I wouldn't have thought to get a smaller rod.
@Foodnerd81: I will look into it. Is it a bright white rod? I was thinking more of a darker rod or nickel/silver finish but at this point I just need curtains hung. They will be hung against 1 bright white wood batten board wall and then a tan textured wall (3 windows).
@Foodnerd81: A curtain rod that will look good with grommetted curtains. I've always hung with curtain rings. I'll look into Target too because for me IKEA has to be shipped.

@matador84: Are your windows standard sized? If so, you will find all manner of rods at Home Depot as well.
If not, try Country Curtains.

@matador84: I never really thought about needing different rods for grommets vs rings-should I?? I got oil rubbed bronze rods from target, Bali brand I think, that I like. But Home Depot ones were good too. The white is pretty white.

@matador84: I have a hard time finding the perfect curtain rod. we just bought some temporary ones from Ikea but i hate them and they stick out too far, so now we are back to the drawing board

@looch: probably not, they are quite large--43 x 60.
Is country curtains a store? I don't think we have t here, but we do have a BBB.
@Foodnerd81: I was just afraid they won't fit through a rod like a normal curtain with rigs you don't have to worry since they clip.
@Mrsbells: I'm super picky about curtain rods!
