We have an ugly faucet in our new bathtub that DD is terrified of (and it reminds me of something else entirely, but that's another story 
)
Can you help me find a faucet cover for it? All the ones I know of (SkipHop, etc) aren't for this shape.

Could you cut a pool noodle along the side to fit? So you have a vertical cylinder?

I'm sorry I am no help, but that is must be the funniest faucet I've ever seen
ETA. Idea! Could you use a PVC pipe cut in half and affix it with some sort of glue to the tub on either side of the faucet? That would hide it entirely lol.

Omg Hahaha!! Can you swap out the actual faucet? Ours was disgusting and broken when we moved in so we bought a replacement for like $7.

Thanks for the suggestions. I don't know if we can replace it. It's a rental, which is not as big of a deal, but it's a really, really old tub. I looked, but I can't figure out how to get it off. There are no screws or anything on the faceplate. It all seems to be one solid hunk of very ugly metal.
If anyone comes up with anything brilliant, I'm all ears, otherwise, I guess I'll keep looking.

Maybe this inflatable kind could be rigged onto it? It'd be way too long but if it inflates it probably doesn't matter since the water still would come through -

I'm thinking of trying a faucet extender that is normally made for sinks. I'm not as concerned about protecting her from it as I am trying to soften the water gushing out and freaking her the hell out. She doesn't even want to get near it when it's off. Something like the Prince Lionheart, maybe?

@LovelyPlum: That thing might work perfect. I think you might be able to put it on and kind of twist the whole thing up the faucet "shaft," so instead of being horizontal it would sit vertically with the bottom facing out (if that makes any sense.) it would solve the function and looks problem!

So random idea but do you think you can go to Michael's or a craft store and buy some foam sheets and make an elephant cut out? You could then hot glue gun some suction cups to the back and stick it over the faucet and make the faucet part look like the trunk.
A less crafty but similar idea would be to buy a foam mask that kids get at parties or for dress up and do the same thing, although I'd probably glue some googly eyes or something on it.

I think I may have found something!! I got the Prince Lionhart cover, which I do think would work. But then I found these, which are similar to the PVC pipe suggestion above. I think they could at least make the water coming out seem more fun than terrifying.
