@matador84: do you use that outlet? I'm guessing you do, but if you don't, you could just put a new blank plate overtop it. That's probably not much help!
The outlet covers I use work with ungrounded outlets, but yours is fancy with 3 plugins! I don't think the covers would be narrow enough.

@Mrs. Coral: good idea, I didn't think to put a blank one over it! We occasionally use it but just moved furniture so it hasn't been exposed. I could live without it. Most worried about kids messing with it!

I would either put a blank over it or have it re-wired. You might be able to find a specialty outlet cover online though.
