Ok, my dad felt sorry for us living without a couch (still saving for one) and offered to buy us a couple of ottoman things when we found them on deep clearance. I love them, and I'm super excited.
Problem is, I can't decide whether to get two taupe ones, or one taupe and one gray.
Thoughts? The couch we want is in a "natural" color, the ikea klippan if anyone knows it.

I love poufs!
I would get two of the same color, and I personally favor grey (and I really like grey paired with taupe for when you get your sofa). But two taupe would be lovely as well!

Grey! Those look awesome. It would really set off the couch. Plus the grey would be more forgiving for spills and such.

I'm a huge fan of taupe, especially because even different shades rarely clash with each other! Voted two taupe!

If the current saving trajectory continues (meaning, barring any unexpected expenses) we should be able to get the couch in three weeks!
Yay for super cheap ikea couches or we'd be waiting a lot longer. I mean $250 for a couch? That's some kind of awesome.

@Arden: awesome!! We got lucky and got ours as a hand me down. It's getting torn up by the cat (ughh) but if we ever get another couch, I'm getting another of these for sure. Yay IKEA!

@Arden: We have IKEA couches! We have the Karlstads in the same dark grey as John and Sherry from YHL. We've had them for 2 years. Not the most comfortable, but they do the job.
And I voted 2 taupe.

Two grey! Man I was looking for that exact pouf for my nursery. Where is that? I ended up getting a different grey ottoman which works but I love those grey poufs!

@Arden: love the grey I'm tempted to go to target and see if thy have any! Is that one of ikeas slipcover couches? I can't imagine trying to keep that clean, but would love a slip covered one!
