I've never painted a wall by myself before and for some reason am intimidated. All I'm doing is repainting it the same color. What tools do I need? Any advice from seasoned home DIYers?

Prep, prep and prep. Remove all the electrical/light cases! I'm not good at freehand painting, so i'd get some good Frog tape and tape along the ceiling and baseboard edges.

@freckles: Thanks! I'm not good at drawing a straight line, so the Frog tape is a must. The YHL tutorial looks good. There are so many videos online about painting, I appreciate you steering me in the right direction.

@Katrocap: All the youtube videos give me a headache, but it could just be my laziness. Curious to know why you're repainting the walls?

@freckles: I'm repainting because there are spots where paint has chipped off, looks dull, minor stains, etc. We moved in four years ago and planned to paint right away. Haha!
