For Christmas I'm asking DH for just a simple necklace with J's initial on it that I can wear everyday.. I don't want anything fancy because there is a 95% chance I will lose it at some point, so i've narrowed it down to these options & can't decide.

I like the first one. 
Another option might be a small Origami Owl necklace. I have one with mine, C's and DH's birthstones in it and I love it.

I like the simplicity of #2. I have one just like it. There's not only the possibility of losing it, but also my son breaking it! He loves to yank on necklaces..

I like 2 and 3, because personally I don't like wearing colored jewelry everyday..because I hate when it doesn't match my outfit o.O I realize that everyone isn't as particular as me though. I think all of them are very pretty, but my personal favorite is number 3.

I have a great necklace from the website ashandashco.com They do whatever you like, so I have a necklace with a cute saying with LO's name and DH's name too. But it's small enough to wear every day and cheap enough in case I lose it!

I had my FIL make one similar to the Tiffany one @mamamoose referenced. I have an A on one side for my name and then my son's initials on the back.

I love all of them-- but voted for #2.
I have a Helen Ficalora necklace with my son's initial (A) and my dog's initial (E)-- I asked my DH for this for Christmas and I wanted the paw print because I do love our dog and then an A for the actual human baby but I got 2 letters. So I love my doggie on my neck every day too
Liz Lemmon wore this one on 30 Rock with the LL. It's a bit pricey but I wear it every single day and love it.
