Looks like the extra-camera that goes with our existing video monitor is no longer being made. So we'll be getting a new video monitor for kid #2. I'm a little perplexed that the current slew of top-recommended options on Amazon are all from brands I've never heard of:
Anybody have thoughts on those, or can recommend a different one?

I like our Nest Cam. I like that it's wifi and we can access it via our phones (we get alerts too). Not that it's super important, but we can review footage later (sometimes for fun, but also when we wonder how she possibly ended up asleep on the floor!).
I have a cheap Motorola backup for travel - because I can't always rely on being able to hook the nest up to hotel wifi.

I am not familiar with any of these but we have the Infant Optics and we love it! It gets GREAT reviews on Amazon. We wanted one that was not internet based.
