On its own I like the last one best. With an eye towards stacking in the future I like the second or third.

Something to consider- what if you next LOs birthstone doesn't look that good with rubies? Like if you have a January baby, garnet next to ruby would look meh (I think). I have a July baby and the next is due mid December and I think those birthstones would just look ok together. So I say pick something you would be happy to wear alone and get something else for baby 2 if you don't like the stones together- but I still love the stacking idea if they go well.

@simplyfelicity: I think the second one would work with almost any two birthstones- except January and July.

I got ruby earrings for C and kind of one a topaz ring for the new baby. Luckily topaz will be a lot cheaper. Or you could just plan for an April (diamond) baby

I like 1 and 3. I actually have #3 in emerald and sapphire. I posted a pic last thread.

I like the #3. It looks a bit like the one I recently got to commemorate my Daughters birth (pink sapphires for her September birthday and diamonds).

I see @Foodnerd81: point though. I stack this one on my left hand with my wedding and engagement rings and the colour is fine because I wear a lot of reds and pinks and not too much clashes with it. If I had another LO with a birthstone colour I didn't like I'm not sure what I'd do...I'll cross that bridge when I come to it!

@illumina: mix and match! My blue and green stones go well together, but I also wear them separate with my own opal birthstone band or individually on their own.
