I have this ring with DS's birthstone and am trying to decide on a ring for DD's. They are going to be stacked together so I want to make sure they look good together. Which do you prefer?

I think they would both look good together, so I say get whatever pleases you more!

@Iced Tea: I like them almost equally...its hard to decide. I just added a third option.

While I love them all, I think I would select matching styles for the following reasons:
(1) If you twist one slightly, the circles will "interlock" and it will appear as the colors are alternating ... which would look AWESOME! (I have a similar set which does this and it is beautiful).
(2) 🤔 Symbolically, your children are equal, yet special ... they come from the same heart (you); therefore, in my mind, having the similar shape maintains the symbolic similarity while using their dissimilar birthstones highlights their individuality.

@Kaohinani: I love this thought processing! Plus, I was thinking of getting another one someday with emerald and opal (my dhs and my birthstones) and I think that could look really pretty all together and would make picking rings really simple.
(kind of like this but all the same style)

I'm in the minority - but I LOVE the pear-shaped style, would be gorgeous in sapphires... Can you link to that?
