I have a Speck case for mine, but my husband invested in the Otterbox and it's working well for him. He's out in the field a lot, so his phone gets dropped all the time.

I have a lifeproof and they're not drop resistant, they're mainly waterproof.. my sister dropped hers with a lifeproof case on it and it cracked but DH calls me from the shower with his on all the time and it's perfect, so it depends on what you are going to do with it!

I have a lifeproof case, and it works wonderfully. It gets dropped and drooled on alllll the time. It's not the cutest, but since I don't want to have to replace it, the case is worth it.

If you do choose a lifeproof case, be careful about buying from Amazon, because from the reviews it sounds like a LOT of people are getting fake ones (my SIL included). I sucked it up and paid the money for a real one from the company.
