I'd either ignore it, or go cutting - 'since I was recording her, she was clearly supervised'

@SugarplumsMom: Obviously if you were there snapping a picture, you were supervising her! I'm sure her intentions were good, so I would try to keep the response civil and lighthearted, but want to let her know that you were definitely supervising her. I would respond similar to what @blackbird: suggested... "No worries, I was right there, and would never leave her unsupervised."

I just ignore things my MIL says...... it's so hard sometimes though! ugh!

i agree with everyone who said to say shes always supervised or ignore it.

Oooh I think I would so badly want to be sarcastic but in reality I would say "don't worry we were there the whole time!"

I vote for the smart ass comments I'm thinking she would rock juggling chainsaws next! You know the big $$ is working without a net. My MIL would have just shaken her head and said my husband did the same thing. My parents on the other hand would have freaked, until I tell them to chill out.

I saw it on IG this morning, I think it's pretty obvious how close you were, within arms reach! Super cute little daredevil though!
