DH was away on business for like 2 1/2 weeks in September. I found a HUGE spider in my drawer so I trapped it under a glass. When he got home, I made him go in and kill it. The damn thing was not only still alive, it had shed it's skin and gotten bigger! ICK.

Ewww. Wasn't a house centipede, was it? Those suckers are ugly as crap and they can get pretty huge. I killed a small one the other day.

Anyway, I'd probably get a huuuuge wad of paper towels to ensure zero contact and toss it in the outside trash.

omg omg omg. I would leave it under the shoe and put a box over the whole thing and weigh down the box with books on top. Sometimes I'll kill a big bug (we get shield bugs and centipedes) and by the time Wagon Sr. comes home, I'll pick up the shoe and the BUG IS GONE.

I would need to deal with the fear and FLUSH that thing. I would be way too paranoid that it would come back to life and get out from under the shoe!!!

@chopsuey119: You are so brave. I would've had a heart attack and gone to the kitchen, gotten some food to last us until DH was coming home, and then barricaded myself in a room. Ewwww.

Omg. That thing is terrifying! I would have had a hard time getting close enough to it to smash it with a shoe. I probably would be screaming the entire time too. Huge kudos to you for killing it.

Well, uh, it's a bug. And you are much bigger than it and now it is dead. So i'd just take a bunch of paper towels, wadded up very thickly, and throw him in the trash.

You can handle all kinds of baby poo, but a little, dead bug is too much? You can do it!!!!!

Ew!! I'd pick it up, but bugs don't bother me too much. If you're totally grossed out, I'd totally leave it there for the hubby to pick up!!
