C is 9 weeks old on Monday. She's been fussy all week (8 week wonder week? Her temperament?) but today is unlike anything. She woke up pretty normal, went down for her nap ok, then woke up half an hour later very unhappy. My mom is staying with me while Dh is away and said she seemed really gassy, so she pumped her legs for a while and it helped, eventually she took a nice long nap. She didn't nap for the rest if the day (this is a problem but happens all the time). She had at least three chopped spinach like poops- very unusual for her. Then tonight she was very cranky (being overtired) but eventually I fed her and she went down no problem, only to wake up half an hour later and scream for hours. I don't know what wrong or how to help her.

I had a bunch of broccoli casserole last night and tonight. She was fine last night but gassy this morning, then had this grassiness again tonight. So I'm afraid my milk is upsetting her stomach but she wouldn't even take a pumped bottle. So now I'm nursing her again but I'm afraid this whole thing is going to start up again. I did push her legs to chest for a while and eventually get a good gassy poop out, normal consistency. She was happy for a bit and then went back to screaming.

So far the only way she's consoled is nursing (for now) and bouncing in the exercise ball. Obviously I can't sleep on that.

Advice? Cvs is closed and I don't know the nearest 24 hour pharmacy for gas drops. I hate seeing her so upset. And of course this is the weekend Dh is away. Thank god my mom is here!!
