My feet get cold too so I mostly wear boots during the colder months. I don't know how people wear ballet flats all winter! I do love my Sam Edelman Felicia flats and I've gotten a lot longer wear out of them this fall since it's been pretty tropical in New England. Idk how they are for wide feet though. ETA: just looked them up and they do come in wide.

@gotkimchi: I just got a new pair of nikes after desperately needing to replace my everyday sneakers for years and they are fine but really not that comfortable for considering they're sneakers! So I'm still looking for something for everyday wear

I go the hippie route and wear birkenstock boston clog year round, I love them but obviously your heals are out and thus can get cold. They come in both narrow and wide sizes and have amazing arch support, but are very much not for everyone.

@snarkybiochemist: Socks or no socks? I have some but can never figure out how to wear them, and with what pants! Haha.

@Bluebonnet: how do you find they fit? I normally size up to an 8 in running shoes (I'm typically a 7.5) but I know these aren't true athletic shoes
I've been thinking about pulling the trigger for a while. Seems like a perfect fall shoe that can go with lots (and my mom uniform)

@Littlebit7: I wear a 1/2 size up in allbirds. Check the FAQs on their website - I think they give sizing suggestions. They have free returns, so if they dont fit, you can send them back.
