anybody know how much it usually costs to steam clean a couch? i'm trying to decide if i should purchase a beautiful set (for a great price!) from an acquaintance who's moving away...but it's a lighter color than our current, dilapidated couch, so i'm worried i'll have to have it cleaned often.

I just paid $35 to clean a chair. Lots of places should be a able to give you free quotes.

I think it cost $50 to steam our sectional couch.

I am thinking about buying a Bissell system since we just purchased light couches. Not sure how well they work though, but they are fairly inexpensive.

We have a dog and cream colored microfiber couches. We use a Bissell Little Green machine about every other week. It works really well if you keep up with it. I think they're $100-150. Plus we have to buy the cleaner every once in a while. If you think you'll have to do it often, I'd look into it
