I put this in "Your Health" it has to do with DH, but I figured it's more related to health. Feell free to move it though if you think it should be somewhere else!!
So DH has had asthma his whole life. It was pretty bad when he was younger, but then it was completely under control when he was a teen, tilll about a few months ago. A year and a half ago we got 2 cats. It really didn't bother him at all, and then about 2-3 months ago we got a dog! That's really when it started acting up. Getting rid of our pets isn't an option for us, they are 100% part of our family! (even if the puppy gets on my nerves!)
We unfortunately have carpet everywhere in our house.....which I'm sure isn't helping. I plan on trying to vacuum everyday going forward and dusting more often. Getting rid of the carpet is on our minds, I'm pretty sure we have hard wood underneath (not sure of the condition).
Oh and another thing (sorry for this scatter brained post!) both cats sleep in bed with us at night (one on my feet, and one by my head) and the puppy sleeps in the kennel right next to DH's side of the bed. It makes me sad....but I think we are going to have to kick the animals out of our room.....any way to avoid this?
What other cleaning tips can you give for dealing with bad asthma? DH is at the point of using an inhaler 4x per day
--He went to the Dr today and said it for sure was his asthma acting up, no other underlying issues.
