My son is 18 months old. He has been going to a friend's house for daycare since he was 8 weeks old. Last week we started preschool 1 day a week for a few hours. Last week he cried when I left and he did it again today. We both went to preschool yesterday for the parade and he did just fine.

Should I be staying there longer? Today I held him, we went to the potty. He was fine when we walked out and I said goodbye and he started freaking out. I left and he was still bawling his eyes out.

I don't work during the few hours that he is in preschool. So, I could stay there longer if you think that would help. The preschool teachers try to distract him.

Any suggestions?
