Ughhhhh my dog ate DD swim diaper 
I took it off of her and set it on the back porch table while I dried her off before going inside fast forward 5 minutes and I come back to said dog eating it!!!
About 1/4 is missing I'd say .....should I be concernd?

I have not had this happen to me yet, but I would not be concerned unless the dog started showing sickness symptoms such as vomiting. I would probably call the vet office in the morning to double check, but dogs eat so many random things and there's not any harmful chemicals in diapers.

I wouldn't be too worried. My dog has eaten onsies, diapers, socks, underwear, you name it! The worse were onseis, because he would have to throw them up!

I would call the vet and see what they say but I would expect an upset stomach and vomiting.

I was more thinking along the lines of the stuffing expanding in her, I called a 24hr emergency vet, she said she should be ok just look for vomiting and blood in stool......great

@FaithFertility: at least a swim diaper doesn't really expand, so I'd think if she had to eat a diaper that would be the kind to do.

I don't know about swim diapers, but mine has probably eaten ten regular diapers (not in one sitting) and our vet said the same thing. Never seen any blood, but her poops had a gel like substance on them. Pretty much the grossest thing ever.

They have eaten too many to count, bad dogs. Regular diapers, I just keep an eye on them, they haven't had any issues though.

I think a swim diaper would be way better than a regular diaper - it's really just paper with none of the absorbent chemical stuff, right?

Our dog did this once. We were worried, too. Luckily, the diaper was really full, so it didn't have much room left to expand in her stomach. I'd keep an eye on her and call the vet if she seems in distress. Our 45 pound Golden mix was fine.
