@Mrs D: fingers crossed that the one time was enough! Have a safe trip in India!

@Modern Daisy: thanks hun, I totally thought we had missed our window with my traveling (this is my longest cycle to date) so it would be pretty neat to actually have a Christmas miracle baby!

@SweetMamaM: oh gawd, no way I would EVER have self control to wait if I was you! I'm trying to make it to 9dpo

@runnerd: I figure that if I'm pregnant now, I'll still be as pregnant in three more days lol. I keep on rubbing my bloat like there's a baby in there, have to remind myself that it could just be a bad AF on her way.

@Alivoo01: thank hun! It helps that I'm meeting up with a friend today that has had unsuccessful IVF treatment so it's almost easier not to know today. Will let you know what excuse I come up with tomorrow hahaha.

@Alivoo01: I'm not out just yet. I still have time for another O!

My cycle has been kind of wonky this month, but I'm counting down the days until I can test. I'm either 7 dpo or 3 dpo...According to FF, my O date was between the 6 and the 8, but according to CM, I O'd on the 4. I'm super tired today, but I'm not going to test until next Monday, which will either be 14 dpo or 10 dpo.
I failed at charting this month. But on the upswing, it's almost Christmas!

@fussygal: thank you! it took me a while to arrive on a POAS date - originally it was supposed to be today!! then my cycle went all crazy!

YAY to see a few pg ladies! Congrats to everyone who is expecting!
I'm still trying to decide if I need to test or not... this cycle is so weird. I've been spotting for 3 days. Usually I spot for a day or two before my period (it was expected to start today) but spotting has been light and period hasn't started. And I've never spotted more than a day or two... usually cramps start BAD within 36 hours of spotting (I get horrible cramps.) No cramps yet... but some weird twinges. I'm sure posting this will mean I get my period BAD tonight, the cramps that wake me up at 2am they hurt so bad, womp. We'll see I guess. I might test tomorrow or Wednesday if AF doesn't start. FX either way, I just want to be out of limbo. That's the worst part for me!
grapefruit / 4862 posts
Ha, literally 2 minutes after posting that I started getting back cramps (my cramps of choice, thanks mother nature) I guess we'll see tomorrow. Boooo. I thought 2012 was my year!
cantaloupe / 6885 posts
@KJfromNJ: Agreed! I hate limbo. At this point I'd rather AF just come so we can get the next show on the road, or delay her appearance long enough so I feel confident enough to take another test.
I'm CD 27 so AF should either be here tomorrow, Thursday, or Friday according to my last few cycles. Fingers crossed she stays away!!!
DH is gone away on a business trip until tomorrow - and the onesie I ordered for him came in. It's SO ADORABLE I CANT EVEN STAND IT!!! I would love to be able to tell him when he gets back, but I don't know if I have the heart to test and see a negative again. I'd rather just wait it out to see if AF comes on her own.

Well it's been fun but @MrsCastro: you can officially cross me off the list. AF came today (18DPO on the nose) I wish you ladies the best of luck. Know that I will definitely be lurking around these boards and cheering you guys on!
Happy POAS-ing and Happy Holidays!!

@everbee: @thismustbetheplace: Sorry about AF
I have a box of 50 wondfo tests (that I paid $15 for on Amazon, score!). When do you all think I should start testing? I know I'm only at 4 dpo now, but I literally have tests to burn so I don' t mind 'wasting' a few by testing early.
GOLD / watermelon / 14076 posts
@Modern Daisy: I got a positive on a wondfo at 8dpo in the afternoon (I held my urine for 4 hours)--it was faint, but there was definitely a line. I doubt it would have been positive at 7dpo. So I don't think 8dpo is too early!
grapefruit / 4187 posts
@lawbee11: Thanks! I was actually planning on testing FMU at 7 dpo because I'm leaving that day to spend the weekend at my parents house so I was wondering if that would be too early.
Also, the instructions on the Wondfo tests say the urine has to be at room temperature - how long do you let it sit out before it gets to that point and why can't it be body temperature? Does anyone know?
GOLD / watermelon / 14076 posts
@Modern Daisy: Ha! I didn't know it's supposed to be room temp. I have taken about 5 tests on wondfos since I got my BFP, and with each of them I have dipped the test immediately after peeing into the cup (and they've all been positive).
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
@everbee: @thismustbetheplace: Sorry ladies!! Wishing you baby dust in the new year!
@Modern Daisy: Like Lawbee11, I test immediately after peeing! Waiting for the lines to show up on the test is painful enough. I don't need additional wait time for my urine to cool down to room temperature! haha! Also, I tested at 11DPO and it was a blazing positive, so I'm thinking if I wanted to test earlier, I would have gotten results.
grapefruit / 4311 posts
@Modern Daisy: I broke down and did 7dpo this morning - Dont recommend, it has put me in sad mood even though logic tells me it's too early. DH was scolding me when I told him - wish I could be logically instead of convincing myself ill be the exception who gets BFP early!!
grapefruit / 4187 posts
@runnerd: That's good to know and sorry about your BFN this am I feel the same way, like I might be the exception. This is exactly why I bought those cheapies, so I wouldn't blow our budget again on tests!! The other option for me is waiting until 10dpo so I'll see if I can make it. I totally understand the feeling since that happened to me last month when I tested early. It's all happy and exciting until you break down and test early and get a BFN
clementine / 770 posts
11DPO and for some reason i'm not tempted enough to POAS...I guess 11 months of TTC-ing and seeing those BFN's really did a number on me.

@runnerd: I tested last week at 8DPO and 11DPO. Negative both times and I've vowed now to just wait for AF....I'm not as 'antsy' and eager to test as I was last week...maybe because I know an answer (good or bad) is just a couple of days away.
Fingers crossed for us all!!

CD 12. I was sure I was ovulating early, but my chart isn't showing a huge temp spike yet.

@Beetones: *hugs* When are you planning on POAS or when is AF due?
clementine / 770 posts
@Alivoo01: Thanks for caring, you should share some of that bfp magic with me. AF is due friday/saturday. I've been having some cramps on my left side, feels somewhat like O cramps, but somewhat less intense. Everything else feels the same tho.

Symptom spotting, i have a UTI (i am pretty sure) and have a stuffy nose...i read on Dr. Google many women got BFP's cycle they have a UTI...not sure how much to believe the relation, but hell i will go with it...
grapefruit / 4311 posts
@MrsCastro: haha, I can always find confirmation of my symptoms via something on google! What DPO are you?
bananas / 9628 posts
@MrsCastro: i had no idea about UTIs & getting KU! i had AF last week followed by a UTI.... i wonder if that means good luck for this cycle =D fingers crossed for you! also, i like your positive spin on the misery that is a UTI = )
clementine / 770 posts
@MrsCastro: I had a UTI this cycle too!!! Sometime around (3-4dpo). I took some antibiotics tho, because i noticed there was also blood when i wiped. I was too scared to wait it out. Looking back now, i did not think of it as a possible sign of anything besides a plain UTI.....oops
persimmon / 1491 posts
@runnerd: i am 4/5DPO....
@mrs. bird: whatever it takes to mentally justify the thought of a possible BFP...LOL...
@Beetones: i noticed it started yesterday, thought it wouldnt amount to anything but this morning at 430 it hurt like a witch!!! so i ended up using AZO, which has been a Godsend!!!

Sorry, been out of the country for the past two weeks.
TTC Cycle: 9th
Ovulation Day; Just had my CD14 ultrasound and my doc thinks I'll have a pos. OPK tonight or tomorrow.
POAS; 12/23
New for this month: Having my first IUI with femara pills. Ultrasound saw 2 (maybe 3) mature follicles. Dr asked me if I was okay with having multiples. I said yes. (Eeek, I can't believe the doc just asked me that!)
Oh, being on femara pushed up my cycle. Instead of my normal 33-34 day cycles, she said i'll be around 28 days. Woohoo, less waiting for me!

@char54: you better bet I'm trying to convince myself that my slight sore throat and runny nose is totally not the beginnings of a cold!

@Beetones: same DPO here and I'm trying to hold out for the weekend... I just don't want to be disappointed. Sending lots of sparkly baby dust your way!
