@SweetMamaM: Thank you so much! I was totally bummed because I was for sure it was our month but now that AF came, I'm alright. Onto January!!
@Anonysquire: Thank you!! :))

My no-POAS excuse for the day is that I have a planning meeting at school today. I'm a terrible liar so this way I can talk confidently about teaching all of next year (our school year is Feb to Dec) because for all I know, I'm not pg and that could be the case!
Still for the life of me cannot come up with an excuse for tomorrow. I might be POAS at 13dp suspected o.

@SweetMamaM: I enjoy them too! I wish I had that way of thinking but I always think the opposite way... lol!

@SweetMamaM: you should start a blog with collections of excuses of why people dont test...
honeydew / 7909 posts
@MrsCastro: and then we'll need to follow it! cuz my excuses are "well I work tomorrow so I'll test today..." rather than "I work tomorrow so I'll wait til the next day." Ha

@MrsCastro: I already have a blog but that's a brilliant idea for a post!
@Ash: I'm just stubborn LOL, that's the only reason it works. And I think that despite it being CD47 and the symptoms I would be a bit stunned if it was our month. It would mean that I o'd on CD35 and I've never o'd that late before. Just a couple of signs for me that it might have been the case are keeping me from giving up completely.

Happy Holidays ladies!
Sorry I'm late to the show. I'm 3dpo today. This is my first month TTC, just had my IUD removed and then AF showed up. My cycles are usually extremely short but predictable (always the same timing, just get my period too frequently.) I've had blood work done and no abnormal levels found. The Dr wants me to go for an HSG exam but we are waiting for AF to show up. This is the first time I'm 'late' in my regularly-irregular too-frequent cycles in years. So maybe I get to be regularly-regular this month? Are you confused? I am. What's going on in there Uterus
TTC Cycle: First (IUD removed)
O Day: Dec 9th, according to charting in FF
POAS: Christmas Eve/Day... although I am not sure if I want to chance getting a negative on those days and risk being sad on such happy days. On the flip side, I don't think I would be able to contain myself if I got a positive but it would be too early to announce it.

@SweetMamaM: That would be a cute/fun blog post!
@MapleMoose: best of luck to you!!

@Alivoo01:

Congratulations on your BFP!!!!!

@MapleMoose: Thanks!! I can totally relate to the anxiety/excitement of the TWW!!! I went through almost a year of it, and it doesn't get any easier. LOL!
@MrsCastro: oh honey!! *hugs* It's okay to feel like you do right now. You're human. A woman TTC. I'm sorry you have to deal with it, but your POAS date is coming up, and maybe then you'll be the one making the announcement soon!! Hang in there, and know that we/I'm here for you!!!! *hugs*

@MrsCastro:
It's okay to feel frustrated and jealous. You're only human after all. Sometimes it's good to get those emotions out

@MrsCastro: I think you have a right to be sad. It's not so much that you begrudge her being pregnant, you just wish you were too. There's no shame in yearning to be a mum. Hope you feel better soon!

@MrsCastro: not to egg you on, but it think this is definitely a situation where it's ok to be sad about it!!!!! crying it out, pull yourself back together, and then you'll feel better

Soooooo how common is the cold symptom before BFP? I started getting sore throat and runny nose yesterday morning, now it's 80% better/gone. Also I had pin pointed cramps along with mild AF like ones for 6-7 DPO - nothing today at all. WHAT'S IT ALL MEAN?? lol

@Alivoo01: @MapleMoose: @SweetMamaM: @runnerd: thank you ladies, i had my good cry when i went for lunch...my time will come and i need to understand that people dont get pregnant to piss me off, and i dont know peoples personal experiance's either...but to just let it go then to dwell and be sad over soemthing i have absolutely no control over...

@MrsCastro: I think it's okay to feel that way! But hang in there. Your time is coming, and you will get that baby you're meant to have! I think when you're TTC and have been for a while, it seems extra painful when you keep hearing pregnancy announcements.

@sweetmamam: I LOVE your excuses!
So, DH and I went to Walgreens last night because I needed more Biotin supplements and of course to get some tests. He can't believe how expensive they are, and so he was comparing prices and says, "well why don't you just get those?" I look, and they're ovulation tests! haha Oh, men.
@anonysquire: I saw your sore boobs post...only my nipples have been sore the whole time! Crazy. I am SO tired today and yesterday. My list of "symptoms" grows longer and longer!

@Mrs. J: why dont you buy a stash from amazon you can usually get about 25-50 for under 15bucks...

@MrsCastro: great motto!
Keep your chin up. Being sad is normal. A friend of mine announced bet pregnancy and it turns out to be around the same time we were supposed to be due. It took me a while before I acknowledged it. Being a mom is something we've thought about since we were little girls. It's an urge we can't explain. Be sad. Your baby is watching down waiting to join his/her mommy on earth. It will happen.

@Mrs. J: my nipples were so sore with when I got my bfp! It's a fabulous sign! Good luck!

Ugh shoot me now... had a bad morning at work (thus deciding not to stay the whole day) and came home... and caved. I POASed and it was a BFN. I don't understand why I can be feeling the symptoms that I am and have no AF and no BFP. Sad panda over here.
grapefruit / 4311 posts
@SweetMamaM: I'm sorry!!!! *hugs* Ugh it is soooo annoying!!!
When I explain to my husband all the things that can mean BFP, and how they all also mean AF, or just be hormones, he feels so sorry for woman that we constantly have to deal with changes all month. To put it in his words, "It would be crazy if men had these 3 days every month that they just expected their balls to hurt for no reason" LOL

@runnerd: I am sitting here with heartburn and the taste of my own spit grossing me out wondering what the heck is going on. Not going to deny it, I also had a bit of a cry... really thought my body might have pulled through for me this month but it doesn't look like it. It's hard though, with no AF either it's hard to get closure on the whole situation.

@SweetMamaM: not out til AF shows! Lots of people don't get it til AF is due!!

@MrsCastro: I don't know... this cycle has been completely rooted. I think I may have ovulated on the 1st/2nd of December which would put me at 11/12dpo. God I wish I had kept on with the OPKs.
pear / 1743 posts
@runnerd: thanks hun - I wish I knew for sure that I had ovulated (even really late) this cycle. I don't know when to look into ending the cycle if AF doesn't arrive on her own.

@SweetMamaM: well it still may be early if you are not sure when O happened...not out to the witch comes..

@MrsCastro It's okay to be frustrated and let the emotions come, sometimes it's just best to let it flow. I love the motto, too, btw!
@maplemoose I hope your TWW goes well!
@sweetmamam @runnerd I love keeping up with your symptom spotting - it gives me ideas of what to look out for during my next TWW
