I love these posts!
DS (4): alphabet robots (thanks @erinbaderin!), transformers, a marble run, magic kit
DD (1): bows and shoes (I have an addiction to the Solid Bow / Wee Ones / Cientas.... after swearing up and down I was a "boy mom"), a shopping cart car combo from Little Tikes, and more of her lovey
I want house stuff (coffee table books, etc) from everyone else plus pretty much all of Loft's fall line.
My husband got a fancy new jacket that he's always wanted (Barbour).
We are giving other people a Kringle (we give every year) and, depending on relation, a bottle of wine or a picture of our kids.
I do experience gifts with my siblings (we trade a zoo membership). For my nephews I got a slide on major sale (thanks, Black Friday!), a stomp rocket (also Black Friday), and Lincoln Logs. I do a charm bracelet for my goddaughter so that was super easy. I did a train set for my godson.
Other people (teachers, nanny, etc) get the Anthro volcano candle + cash or a gift card. I plan on hiding the cash INSIDE the top of the nanny's candle and acting like it's all I got for her this year (she's worked for us 3+ years). I can't wait to watch it unfold, ha!
ETA: I wish people still had gold because I miss the Christmas card thread too!

Ohh love these posts! Thanks for starting!
For family...
SIL: Pocket watercolor set and pocket watercolor paper notebook. She is artistic and hikes frequently, we figured this would be fun to take along with them on their excursions.
BIL: Fiance of SIL. Got him a rear bike light that projects lines on the road making your own bike lane. He bike commutes to work daily. Also picked up an all silver/mirror cool-looking rubik's cube.
Brother: A record (hubs and brother have the same musical taste so this was his task).
SIL: Partner of brother. She's getting one of those foot sling rests for air travel since she is almost always on business somewhere and a one-pot/pan style keto cookbook.
Parents: Both sets will get a nice photo of the new baby whenever she arrives (which has to be before xmas) and a handmade snowglobe from DD which we will make together.
Grandparents: All will get one of the snowglobes from DD
Our nuclear family:
DD1 (6 yrs old): Santa gift is a Playmobil hidden temple/dinosaur set. Our big gift is a play house for the yard (kidkraft cottage garden). Other gifts from us are the Playmobil aquarium and penguine sets, board games (Guess Who, Googly Eyes, Don't Spill the Beans), a little hatchimals egg set and play set for them, an LOL surprise pet and little sister doll, a knit hat with kitty ears, Our Generation accessory set and outfit for her AG doll, Princess in Black book set, Hello Kitty sight words set (both from her school Scholastic club) and A Wrinkle in Time to read together, a mermaid doll craft kit.
Stocking stuffers are: a kindergarten activity book, hidden pictures puzzle book, squishy animals, fuzzy socks, Target dollar spot things (play foam, shrinky dinks, felt play set), lip smackers, bath bombs, candy, and single serve cups of her favorite snacks.
For DD2 (due last Sunday LOL): Santa gift is a teething necklace (DD1 said that's what she thinks she will want). Gifts from us are a stroller toy, and we will maybe wait to assemble her swing till xmas and put that by the tree. Stocking stuffers will be some binkies and a board book.
DH: A fire log rack for outside by the fire pit, new beard trimmer, sweater and jacket from Old Navy, funny boxers (gift from DD1 which we did last xmas and for his bday over the summer so it's now tradition). Stocking stuffers are a bottle of locally made hot sauce, a knit can coozie made by our friend (we have a collection and buy one every year), his favorite candy, and some beef jerky.
Myself: I've asked for a pair of earrings and a house plaque/sign with our monogram/family name to hang on the porch. Bought myself some sweaters from ON on black Friday as well.
Family/Joint: New sonicare toothbrush (ours makes a weird noise right now and black friday let me replace it cheap), and some wifi smart plugs.
We often buy gifts for our closest friends. Stuck on ideas this year though and with the new baby we might have a pass or do something easy like gift cards.
LO's best friends will get a LEGO set and the other will get a book and we will let LO pick a toy to give her too.
Bonus: almost all of this is DONE. I wanted to buy/do as much as possible before the holiday and before having this baby!!

We honestly don't have much extra cash this year for Christmas, so we had to keep it really simple (which, ugh). One of my step-sisters I don't exchange gifts for (pre-arranged that we just buy for the kids), and the in-laws do a non-secret santa where we each just buy for 1 person.

For 3.75 yo DD- slippers, a bathrobe, some pjs and clothes, a malig elephant. That’s about it. Since she never makes it down a toy isle when people ask her what she wants she says candy canes or treats. We asked for a sleeping bag from MIL.

For MIL & FIL- It’s her 60th bday Christmas so we sent a Le Cruset Dutch oven for her bday and a batter bowl and au gratin dishes for Christmas.
My mom- A framebridge print and a gold leaf Ornament.
My nephews- matching HA windbreakers and shoes.
Some shoes for Matt’s cousins and gift cards for others- they are all College age or younger.
Some clothing items for friends kids.

Daughter #2 (1 1/2): blocks, doll stroller, play kitchen utensils
Husband: a couple of sweaters, new home brew buckets; stocking stuffers - snacky stuff I found at World Market, trail mix, beef jerky, more bottle caps for his homebrew stuff

This is me trying to be low key bc our big gift is we’re going to Palm Springs/Joshua Tree and Disneyland over Xmas week. 🤗🤗

FIL: family photos, need to make him a photo calendar, and reusable bags for produce (he’s into that sort of thing!)
I need to think of stuff for my parents who watch our kids twice a week so I try to do something a bit nicer.

We celebrate Hannukah and give the girls' presents each night, mostly things I got on Black Friday. tonight's the 5th night so the first 4 they've already opened:
1. lo1 (4.5): my little pony bead/necklace set
lo2 (22 m): animal matching game
2. lo1: hatchimal colleggtible set
lo2: wooden pull train that has blocks and animals
3. lo1: book
lo2: play toaster
4: both: new dresses (today was school picture day, so they were excited to wear new clothes!)
5. both: hand puppets
6. both: hangable puppet theater
7: lo1: necklace
lo2: doll carrier
8: both: we're planning on getting them a pet fish so we were going to get a bowl/rocks/toy, but not actually get the fish until after winter break since we'll be traveling
I also have a doll diaper bag/kit for lo2, and new shoes in the next size up for both, but might hang on to those...lo2's bday is in feb for the bag, and they both might be tempted to wear the new shoes now when they're too big. shoes seem to cause the biggest tantrums in our home for some reason!!
for other people--
for mil and my parents, I made photo albums with professional pics of the girls.
we don't do gifts w sil
I haven't figured out my bro/sil/nieces yet! I usually just give presents to the girls (9.5, 5.5, 3.5, 1) but I haven't even thought about what to give them yet...they have everything already!!
oh and dh and I aren't doing presents, we both bought ourselves a few things on black friday...
And for daycare teachers we give $ for a joint community present, so that's easy (we aren't allowed to give individual gifts)
