We get to choose a home warranty package for our new home, but I don't know which one to go with. I've had one before, but was underwhelmed. Anyone have one they would recommend?

My office uses Old Republic with a lot of our clients. The $400 option is a popular choice.

First American Home Warranty-go to the website below to view plans. You have enough to buy the basic with the first class upgrade and pool coverage.http://www.firstam.com/warranty
Home Warranty of America-You can purchase basic buyer coverage and pool plus another coverage that you can pick for the $625.

One Guard Home Warranty-they have some nice features that come with the warranty. You can get the basic plan and pool coverage with $50 remaining.

Home Warranty of America- you can get buyer basic and pool with about $95 left over to choose another coverage.

@LAZB: when we bought our house it came with First American! No complaints about it. We only had to use it once when our dishwasher broke. It was super easy to get them to open a claim and pay for the repair! And their website is pretty decent as well.

@LAZB: we have old republic and have been very happy with it! We've used it several times & it has been so easy with great service
