I am great at reading the pictures! I always supervise the installs and tell my DH where things go.

i am a pro. i put together 12 cabinets, 12 drawers, and 4 bookcases on saturday. the first side of the bed will be difficult but then you'll get in a groove.

I suck at it; I think DH uses his common sense along w/ the pictures to figure it out.

I am good at following what my husband tells me to do! I think the last time I actually read the instructions myself and did it without help was assembling a folding basket or something ridiculously easy, ha.

I am awesome at it now! I can build something in about 1/2 the time of my husband.

I'd say I'm good at it! I actually kind of *like* putting it together. My SO is awful; he starts wherever he feels like it, and skips steps, and then tries to go back later... Ikea doesn't work that way! Start at step one and progress.

Very good! But then I am Swedish so it may be in my genes

DH is seriously amazing at Ikea furniture, he doesn't even look at the instructions. That's a different league to me.

I'm great at it. I assembled 2 dressers when I was pregnant and hated the belly getting in the way.

But I went this weekend and bought stuff and it was easy to get together. D even got a crazy lamp that I assembled no problem.

Love it!! I love building stuff. If both the hubby and I are assembling together, I'm the navigator and he's the hands. I read the instructions and tell him what pieces go together while handing him correlating nuts/bolts/screws, etc.

We recently bought a new house so we're assembling quite a few Ikea pieces; and I love it!! Minus the price tag.... lol

I find it fairly intuitive. If I've seen the piece assembled in the store, I can usually figure out how it'll go together without instructions. If anything I find the weird photos that it's sometimes hard to figure out exactly what way things are facing make it more difficult.
