We just had our last appointment with the midwife and WOW. Little M is not so little! She's 12 lbs and 25 inches long!!! That's about 3.5 lbs up from birth weight, and FOUR inches. All in just under 7 weeks.
How big was your baby around this time?

Wow! She's going to be a model! We have a petite one here in comparison. She was 9 lbs 12 oz and 21 1/4" at her 7 wk appt. and 11lbs 12 oz and 23 1/2" at her 12 wk appt. only 5th percentile for height.... But I was always really short until HS.

@shopaholic: DH and I are both tall so it's not shocking she is as well! It's a little crazy to me that she's 4 inches longer than when she was born though, that's some serious growing

@sslm: yeah, she's over 99% in height and is 98.6% in weight. Neither dh nor I are humongous. I'm 5'7" he's 5'10". She is bound to stop growing at some point.
