I asked SO to get a bag of ripe ones, but he bought a huge bag of hard avocados. Do you know any way to ripen them before tomorrow? I left them out, not in the fridge but they are still hard. I was going to use them for a party. Do I need to buy ripe ones or can I ripen these?

I find mine get ripe faster when I put them in my fruit bowl with citrus..... maybe I'm crazy though! lol!

My Mum always said to put them next to a banana.

I've heard to put them in a paper bag. Not sure if it works though.

In a paper bag with apples. The apples apparently give off a gas that will speeed up other fruits ripening.

I've heard paper bag w an apple- the apple gives off super ripening... Something.
But only do as many as you want for the party if it's a huge bag.
